At the spacious entrance there is a staircase on the top floor, on the right two huge living rooms and an auxiliary room. At the back of the house there is a beautiful swimming pool along with a hot tub and more than enough seats to relax. The mansion is in quiet wooded area a short distance to the town of Cornwall. A modern get-away in the middle of the lower Hudson Valley at Sterling Forest State Park, just an hour from New York City.

With several different communal areas spread out throughout the house, we never felt too on top of each other. Jake was an good host who was easy to deal and made sure that we were comfortable during our stay. The house does feel like a bit of a work-in-progress, but if you have a larger group and are looking to stay in the area, it is a solid option.
